The Friends of the Woodman’s Center are grateful for the generous support from our donors! In total, our supporters have pledged over $7.3 million (as of April 27, 2023) toward the construction of the Woodman’s Sports & Convention Center project. For a complete list of our donors please visit our website: woodmanscenter.com/donors. There are still plenty of opportunities available to donate in our goal to reach $9 million in pledges, please reach out to us at friends@woodmanscenter.com for additional donor information.
The Friends are thrilled to share the design for our donor recognition wall! Donors at the Legacy, Diamond, Gold, and Silver giving levels will be recognized in the lobby as you enter the main entrance of the Woodman's Center, all other donors will be recognized on the Woodman's Center website. The donor wall is inspired by the Woodman's Center logo which is an encircled tree; a nod to the City of Janesville's "squiggly tree" and also a nod to the Janesville Area Convention & Visitors Bureau "modern tree". The three arrows pointing upwards is a reflection of the forward motion arrow in the Forward Janesville logo as well as symbolizing the three main components of the project: the ice arena, the multi-purpose seasonal arena, and the multi-use flex space. Three elements that can work independently or together to move Janesville forward meant to represent growth and forward motion of the community. Finally, the trunk of the tree stands on two legs representing the public-private partnerships joining together to support this project. The Together We Can Campaign will be recognized in the 100 navy dots displayed below, one dot for each donor, click here to learn more about the Together Campaign.
